On July 5 I headed to Sellersville, PA for a show at the Sellersville Theater, one of my favorite places to perform in the east. It had been a couple of years since I had been there and so all of the Flamingohead Family was really excited for the reunion!
I did the first set of the show solo acoustic, playing for an hour or so. It’s the longest solo set I’ve done in a long time, as I’m wanting to stretch, and get out of my comfort zone. The results have been good and the material has been well received. I brought bass player Jeff Gray and drummer Bob Masucci up for the second set. It was a lot of fun.
Jeff has performed with me on a number of occasions as has Bob.
I was really surprised at the excitement of all of my friends in Sellersville. Dozens of photos were taken, some videos were made and we had an overall great time. I thought I would add a few photos and comments from the evening.
Thanks to all of my Flamingohead cousins and friends for attending and providing the photos below:
Photographer Ed Polakoff took some nice photos and also the video below of “Falling in Love”
